Dr. Zoufan's office has been the most modern, cozy dental office I have been to among the past 6-7 dentists I have been to. He has saved a tooth that my previous dentist had done a lousy job 6 months ago and had recently been telling me the only way forward is to extract. After a painful infection, I called in Dr Keivan's office and they offered me a same day consultation. I was greeted with a very friendly courteous staff from the front desk office to the dental assistants. The X-ray was painless. Usually the film presses too hard on my lips but I didn't feel uncomfortable on this visit at all. The mouth openers that other offices use makes my mouth/teeth hurt after long procedures. It was not the case either there was also no pain from the rinse and flush system that other offices use. He used a latex like material with a ring around my tooth and did everything temporally. During the root canal procedure I was seeing the whole procedure through the reflective glass of his Zeiss microscope. Not only I was getting visual feedback from what was going on, I had a piece ofind that my numb tounge will not touch the drilling instruments (a fear I always have in other dentist offices). His friendly and warm personality really helped a lot to alleviate the pain.
I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Dr. Zoufan. The staff is friendly, and the doctor is very kind, gentle, and soothing, as well as skilled. He explains what is about to do as he works, and answers your questions. Both his offices are pleasant environments. (The comfiest dental chairs, ever, too!) I'd always heard tales of how terrible root canals are, but this was certainly not the case with Dr. Zoufan. No pain during the procedure, and no pain afterwards. I was referred to Dr. Zoufan by my dentist after a crown gone awry. After an initial evaluation indicated a root canal was required, I chose to wait a month due to some insurance issues. By the time I went back, my pain was very much improved, so Dr. Zoufan recommended we wait to see if the tooth would continue recovering. Better not to get a root canal if you don't really need one, he said. That is honesty you do not often find. Further complications (that were nothing to do with Dr. Zoufan) led to a recurrence of the original problem about a month later. I called begging for an appt. ASAP. Not only did they squeeze me that day, but he and his assistant stayed late on a Friday to take care of me. They were both very kind and very patient, taking as long as necessary to make sure the procedure was smooth and pain-free, despite the lateness. If you need a root canal, run, don't walk, to Dr. Zoufan.
In the last few years, Dr. Zoufan has provided me with a few dental treatments. I am very pleased to share my experiences with you. Dr. Zoufan has gentle hands and they conform to the mouth which makes the entire dental procedure to go easy and smooth. He is highly professional, knowledgable and experienced in his field. From correct diagnosis to timely treatment combined with highly professional staff, equipped with the state of the art equipment in two crystal clean offices, has made him one of the most successful dentists in his field. "The Best Root Canal Ever" I know that sounds CRAZY but I have had a few at different places. This was the first time I have even been to see Dr. Zoufan and his amazing staff. The office was clean and bright. He worked on my tooth until 7pm and they close at 5pm. He wanted to finish so I didn't need to come back to complete it the next day. He explained everything as he was doing it. He and his staff had a great sense of humor. I wish he did all dental work because I would have him do everything for me regarding my teeth. If you need a Root Canal go see him. It didn't hurt one bit. He made sure I was completely numb. I listened to relaxing music as well. You still hear the drill but it was very nice and weirdly relaxing. :) Thank you Dr. Zoufan and staff. You are the best!

I had to get an emergency root canal done all of the sudden, and Dr. Zoufan and his staff were able to schedule a same day appointment to get rid of my tooth pain. They were all professional, and mostly compassionate to me. I am happy I was able to find them.
Dr. Zoufan did a root canal for me several months ago. I had heard stories of patients of other dentists experiencing discomfort during a root canal, but I did not have any pain at all, before, during, or after. I was surprised, as I was prepared for some pain. Dr. Zoufan takes exceptional care and has great sensitivity. He worked slowly, carefully, and made sure that I was comfortable throughout the procedure. You can tell he loves his work.
